An honor student at Wheeling Park High School, Nate plays alto sax in the marching, concert and jazz  bands, sings in the school chorus and plays in the Wheeling Symphony Youth Orchestra.  Nate enjoys soccer, skate boarding, roller hockey, ice skating and paint balling.  Nate built his own motorized scooter from the ground up, using a chain saw motor (unfortunately first time out, he fell and broke his arm!).  He is active in the local Boy Scout troop and is a member of the Wheeling Skate Park Committee, a committee he helped form three years ago in an effort to get a skate park built in town.  Country music sensation Brad Paisley recently made a generous donation to the project!
