In March 2003 Jordan was officially awarded the rank of Eagle Scout.  To complete his His Eagle Scout project he organized and supervised several works crews of boy scouts, friends and neighbors to clean up a local historic cemetery.  The crews worked through some of the hottest days of the summer, cutting weeds, collecting trash and mowing grass at the cemetery.   The project was finalized when Jordan worked in cooperation with city officials to have a sign made and installed identifying the previously obscure cemetery to passersby.  At the time he passed his Eagle board of review in October  2002, Jordan had earned a total of 39 merit badges and held the rank of Assistant Senior Patrol Leader with Troop 6.  Since then he has earned several additional Eagle Palms.

Jordan graduated with honors in 2005 from Wheeling Park High School where he was a member of the Young Patriots elite choral ensemble, the soccer team and the Health Sciences & Technology Academy club.  Jordan completed his freshman year at West Virginia University where he is studying aerospace and mechnical engineering.  He hopes to someday work for NASA.  In his spare time, he builds model airplanes, plays utimate frisbee and spends time with his girlfriend Steph.
